Artisanal Greek Wineries 2026, coming this weekend in Zappeion.
Greek wine through the art of small winemakers
January 24 & 25, 2026 | 12:00-20:00 | Zappeion Megaron
The annual wine exhibition of the SMOE, entitled Artisanal Greek Wineries 2026, will take place on January 24 & 25 in Athens, this time in one of the city's most iconic venues, the Zappeion Megaron.
The event is organized by the Association of Small Winemakers of Greece (SMOE), which this year is presenting itself under its new international name, Artisanal Greek Wineries, marking a new era of openness for small Greek wineries.
For two days, the Zappeion will become a reference point for wine lovers and professionals, hosting more than 70 small wineries from every corner of Greece. The halls of the Zappeion offer the ideal atmosphere for a comfortable and high-quality tour of the Greek vineyard, combining the historicity of the space with contemporary Greek wine creation.
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste hundreds of labels that stand out for their quality, authenticity, and strong connection to their place of origin and the people who create them.
The Artisanal Greek Wineries 2026 exhibition highlights the philosophy of small-scale production, where each wine is the result of personal care and deep knowledge of the vineyard.
At the heart of the exhibition are the winemakers themselves. Visitors have the opportunity to talk directly with the creators, learn about their philosophy, and understand the uniqueness of each wine and the contemporary reality of Greek artisanal winemaking.

Alongside the wine tasting, the exhibition program is enriched with thematic workshops, masterclasses, and special presentations designed to offer knowledge and meaningful experiences to the public.
The Artisanal Greek Wineries Network initiative will also continue as part of the event, highlighting the points of sale and restaurants that actively support small Greek wineries and contribute to their sustainability.
Artisanal Greek Wineries 2026 is not just a wine exhibition. It is an invitation to get to know Greek wine as it really is: authentic, vibrant, and deeply connected to its people and place, this year at the historic Zappeion Megaron.
Get ready for another unforgettable wine journey.
