Three days full of Cretan Wine, 18-20 February 2023 at the International Exhibition Centre of Crete, in Gournes, Heraklion
The winemakers of Crete are preparing for the 15th YEAR to welcome the friends of the Cretan Vineyard to the "Oenotika" Exhibition, which will take place on 18, 19 and 20 February 2023, at the International Exhibition Centre of Crete (ICECC) in Gournes, Heraklion, co-organised by the Region of Crete and supported by the Agri-Food Partnership. 35 wineries from all over the island, with more than 400 labels, will welcome you to taste new and old vintages.
At the same time, the Wines of Crete team has prepared interesting events that accompany the exhibition and highlight not only wine, but also Cretan cheese, with a focus on consumer and professional education.

At the exhibition there will also be an organised sale of Cretan wine where bottles will be sold at a symbolic price and part of the proceeds will be donated to the Centre for Special Children "Zoodochos Pigi".

Do you want to taste all the new wines released this year in Crete? Yro Koliakoudaki Dip WSET has collected for you the new releases from all the wineries, which she will taste with you, presenting you every detail. A chance to taste all the first releases for 2023!

18:00 - 19:30 | Masterclass "Crete by the glass" for HORECA professionals
Are you looking for wines for your glass list? Yro Koliakoudaki Dip WSET in this masterclass presents grouped wines by taste categories, enabling all HORECA professionals to taste wines they can include in their summer list.

19:00 - 21:00 | Masterclass "Crete: cheese and wine at their best!"
Oenographer and professor of oenology Simos Georgopoulos analyses the basic cheeses and wines of Crete and unravels the myths surrounding their combination. He also presents ideal harmonies for the greatest Cretan cheeses and suggests excellent platters for every style and type of wine.
You will have a unique tasting experience tasting Cretan cheeses with Cretan wine varieties.
