Negroni with tsipouro, Bloody Mary with ouzo and Pina Colada with mastic and others unique Greek coctails, this Sunday at Greek Distillate 2023
Negroni with tsipouro, Bloody Mary with ouzo and Pina Colada with mastic are some of the well-known cocktails that Greek bartenders have "diverted" in order to promote traditional Greek distilled products. The trend now is to create new cocktails based on Greek spirits, ten of which will be available to the public for tasting at the "Greek Distillate" event, taking place this Sunday at the Athens Conservatory's Foyer Arts Hall.

Anna-Maria Samoulada presents Golden Fresh Paloma and Aged Negroni, based on the premium tsipouro Golden Harvest, Aged Tsipouro and Botanic Liqueur, all from Kardasis Distillery. Yannis Michalopoulos is inspired by O/PURIST, also a premium tsipouro, to create two cocktails, O/PURIST Blue and O/PURIST Pink. Vassilis Vassiliou presents Heaven's Garden, Humble Crafter and Proud Summer based on Lost Lake Distillery's Malagouzia, Mouchtaro and Hefebrand grape spirits. Finally, George Karavanas draws inspiration from Katsaros Legendary ouzo, Angel Tears triple distillation Tsipouro, Limoncello and Mastiha Katsaros to create the Traditional Sin, Angel's Share, Happy Lemon and Mystic 7 cocktails.

Tasting spirits and cocktails are included in the admission price along with the exhibition catalogue and special tasting glass.
