"Open Doors - Open Kitchens", from Aigialia to Kalavryta, from the pebbles of the sea to the top of Helmos!

The enchanting Ilias Mamalakis climbs to the top of Helmos, lights a fire, sends "smoke messages" and exchanges creative cooking with the great Greek cook Konstantina Voulgari Kontesopoulou who will answer him from the beach of Pounda in Aegialeia (exit 20 of Olympia Odos).

For those of you coming to Aigialeia and Kalavryta this weekend 28 & 29 May, the open visiting wineries are waiting for you to taste a glass of wine and tell or listen to stories , sharing knowledge and experiences as you tour their cellars.
You will have the opportunity to watch Ilias Mamalakis and Kon/na Voulgaris Kontesopoulou cooking live and to taste the dishes of the restaurants -members of the Oenoxenia Quality Network - enjoying the wonderful wines of the slopes of Aigialeia and taking with you, as a gift, a bottled wine identical or similar to the one you will drink, thanks to the action of the 1+1 Network.

The region of Aigialeia and Kalavryta, one of the most beautiful wine-growing areas in the world, full of contrasts and breathtaking landscapes, produces all the products of the Mediterranean diet in their excellent quality: Corinthian fish, olive oil, citrus fruits, raisins, PDO and PGI wines, PDO Kalavryta feta cheese, pasta, legumes, goats and lambs grazing around the vineyards, whether fenced or not. The Oinoxenia Quality Network with almost 50 members - businesses, including the 12 wineries of Aigialeia, restaurants, guesthouses and processing plants of the region of Aigialeia and Kalavryta, participates for the first time in the "Open Doors"!! Multiple events such as outdoor kitchens set up from the sea wave to the peaks of Helmos, visits to wineries, and activities in local restaurants will take place on the weekend of 28 and 29 May.
