The registrations are planetary and the opening to orange wine has stimulated the winegrowers. Japan is committed for the 2nd year with the emblematic grape variety of the island, Koshu. Mexico is mobilizing thanks to the dynamic Consejo vitivinicolo Mexicano. The Czech, Greek, Romanian, Slovak and Slovenian estates are organizing themselves. Hungary, rewarded with gold and a dry wine trophy in 2021, is also getting back into the game. Kazakhstan will present Riesling. Wines from Australia, South Africa and the USA will compete. As for the vineyards of the European heart Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain, it will be worthily represented

JUDGES AND PARTNERS IN EFFERVESCENCE
Faithful from the start, Serge DUBS, Best Sommelier of the World 1989 will chair a table of juries after having commented on the appetizer wine, an important step in the calibration process, before launching the tastings of the wines in competition. Pr. Dr. Monika CHRISTMANN, Honorary President of the OIV as well as Roberto GAUDIO, delegate of VINOFED confirmed their presences. A delegation of international judges, prevented during the two previous editions due to health restrictions, will make their big comeback and thus enrich the panel of the 70 experts. Yegas NAIDOO / South Africa, Jim MAC MAHON / Australia, Debbie TEMPLETON SMEKRAR / Canada, Bob MADILL and Mickael SCHAEFFER / New York, François COTÉ / Quebec - Diana PAVELESCU / Romania... not to mention our neighbors across Rhine which we are delighted to reintegrate.
The ANEV, the Association Nationale des Elus du Vin is once again involved in order to convey a message that will be emulated by French estates. Those from Alsace, Languedoc, and Loire intend to defend their 2021 Best Dry Wine Trophies in their category.
