After two years of absence, Oenorama, the official rendezvous of the wine industry, is to be held on 12, 13 and 14 March 2022 at Zappeion Hall, in accordance with Covid-19 protocols.
Winemakers from every corner of the country have secured a place at this year's Oenorama. Over 2,000 wines from more than 250 wineries in Greece and abroad will be at the Zappeion Hall, with established brands, new releases and of course the 2021 vintage. However, wines from 2019 and 2020, two of the best vintages in recent years (the first and decades), have never been exhibited at Oenorama. So Oenorama 2022 will be the first in history with wines from three "new" vintages.
As always, among the thousands of labels at the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to taste the best and most expensive of the Greek vineyard, wines representing all Greek appellations of origin and the most widespread indigenous grape varieties, which are currently the spearhead of Greek wine.

Of particular interest to professional visitors are the "Wine Craft" (equipment and wine-making equipment) and "Wine Discoveries" rooms, with very small and emerging wineries, as well as the corresponding "wine bar" where special and more rare wines from obscure grape varieties and from non-conventional winemaking and ageing methods are hosted (e.g. wines vinified in amphorae or with indigenous yeasts) and with minimal oenological intervention.
In order to make Oenorama 2022 safe for all at Covid-19, entry will only be permitted with a valid vaccination or disease certificate and all applicable protection measures will be in place. In addition, the operation of the exhibition is divided each day into 2 time periods: morning 10:00 - 14:00 and afternoon 15:00 - 19:00, with an hour break for ventilation and cleaning.
The ticket for each morning period costs 12€ (student 7€), as does that for the afternoon period on Monday 14 March. The ticket for the Saturday and Sunday afternoon periods costs 15€ (student 12€). A "3-day pass" for 30€ guarantees access to the exhibition during all opening hours and days. For all these options, tickets can be pre-purchased via Viva.gr. It is also possible to buy tickets on the spot at the exhibition's box office, but with no guaranteed availability.
