A press conference for the 47th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) was held in Beijing on August 27. The congress will be held in Yinchuan, Ningxia, from October 12 to 16, 2026. It will mark the first time that the World Congress and the OIV General Assembly have been held in Asia.

Under the theme “Shaping new paradigms for the global Vine and Wine sector,” the congress will feature five main parts, including a forum on the high-quality development of China’s vine and wine industry and scientific and technical sessions.

For this year’s congress, 423 scientific papers from 33 countries have been selected so far, and more than 800 delegates are expected to attend.

Alongside the congress, Ningxia will host the 6th China International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo, featuring a series of experiences that bring together culture, sports, wine, wellness, tourism and commerce.

The International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) is offering a ?-????? ?????????? within its ?????????? ?????????? at OIV Headquarters in Dijon, France. ??

You will contribute to the collection, analysis and dissemination of international statistics on the vine and wine sector, helping support the OIV's role as the global reference for vine and wine data.

Main responsibilities include:
▪️ Data collection, validation and management
▪️ Statistical analysis and data visualisation
▪️ Supporting OIV statistical publications and reports
▪️ Monitoring global vine and wine market trends
▪️ Contributing to databases and reporting tools
