Allwinestories presents the production of Municipality of Anadia entitled "Anadia Tourismo".  Discover this unique region of Portugal. It is famous for its outstanding wines and long agricultural and viticultural tradition.

A vibrant, beautiful and genuine land, full of harmony and constrast, Anadia is the centre of Portugal and the heart of Bairrada region. The best the country has to offer.

Is a challenge that lies ahead for you: to those who can merely imagine Anadia, who have already passed by or lingered here, who believe to know it well, and those who love it .

The provocation starts in these lines - “Anadia, Land of Passions”. Or rather, in the photographs that illustrate them and justify the many passions that Anadia region will arouse in you.

We shall travel within a territory that extends from the plains of the lowlands to the slopes of the green mountains, strolling through the Art, Culture, Sports, Emotions, Nature, Health & Well-being, and Wine & Food.

Let meet the sparkling wines.

The production of natural sparkling wine in Bairrada started at the end of the 19th XIX century, in Anadia, with the introduction of the champagne" method. Today it is officially called "classic" or bottle fermentation method and this is a particularity that characterises it. Bairrada sparkling wines are the ex-libris of this region, constitution on the tourists attraction is to visit different cellars and wineries.

Local gastronomy

Chanfana da Bairrada is one of the  specialities of the region. Made of goat or sheep, it is cooked in a wooden oven n black clay pots for 4 to 5 hours. Once prepared, it is only savoured, two or three days later, accompanied with  Bairrada wines. It is served in all restaurants in the region.

Fígado de leitão

Liver of  piglet, seasoned with garlic, salt, pepper and white wine, which, after being thinly sliced goes to the fryer.

Underground Museum Alianca

Aliança Underground Museum is the new project of the Berardo Collection, with collection of its collection. With an address in Sangalhos, Aliança Vinhos de Portugal decided to enter its brand in the label of art and culture, presenting the municipality of Anadia with the Aliança Underground Museum. A space that has seven collections that take on various imaginaries, inviting the pleiade of visitors to a tour of the most distinct collections, in a meeting of peoples, places, beliefs and cultures.

This museum space, dreamed by Commander José Berardo when he visited the alliance cellars for the first time, has in his collection African works of art, ceramics from Caldas da Rainha, historical collection of Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, tiles, minerals and fossils.
