Thanasis Parparousis, was one of the pioneers of the Greek wine renaissance, after studying oenology in Dijon he returned to his beloved Achaia and from the 1970s dedicated himself to the production of exceptional wines at the family estate in Bozaitika.
A French-educated oenologist among the first, he was a beacon of the new era of Greek wine. He supported and supported an unknown variety, Sideritis, transforming it into an amazing fresh white wine, into a playful rosé, into a first class spirit. He put Mavrodafni in its dry orbit and Agiorgitiko in classic and selected versions.
Our warm condolences to his beloved daughters. Eryfili and Demetra.
