The ARGO AWARDS is an initiative of the International Association ARGO - GREEK BRUSSELS NETWORK, the aim of which is to reward Greeks of the Diaspora who honour their origins, to promote their achievements to set an example for younger generations, to strengthen extroversion, and to raise awareness of Greece for the success of its young people abroad.
The President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, presented the ARGO Awards on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, to eight distinguished Greeks from abroad, each of whom has distinguished himself in his field, at a ceremony organized by the International Association "ARGO - GREEK BRUSSELS NETWORK", at the Benaki Museum, Piraeus.
The gastronomy award was presented to Kyriakos Kynigopoulos, a famous Greek oenologist, who plays a very important role in the world wine scene.
